Eastenders live part gaffes suggested after nerves got the improved of the stars

With any live performance there are bound to be some technical or human errors.

And EastEnders was no exception with some shaky camera moments and cast members fluffing their lines during the soap"s first ever live episode to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

But while more than 16million viewers across the country sat back to enjoy the experience last Friday evening, some eagle-eyed viewers took it upon themselves to note down all the hilarious gaffes and glitches during the half-hour show.

Lacey Turner as Stacey Slater confesses to Archie"s murder - but it was the live bloopers that caught the viewers" attention

The main focus of the episode was that Archie Mitchell"s killer was to confess to his murder, something the nation had been waiting for with bated breath.

The actors were no doubt feeling very nervous about doing the live show, which probably added to the tension that one of them would find out minutes before the show that their character was the killer.

And the nerves were there to see from the off.

● Scott Maslen, who plays Jack Branning, stumbled over his lines in the opening scene. Ever the professional, he quickly recovered and carried on, supported by his fellow cast members.

● Then,Barbara Windsor, who plays Peggy Mitchell, had a scene with CharlieBrooks, who plays Albert Square"s resident bitch Janine, but calledher June by mistake.

● This may have been a slip-of-the-tonguereference to June Brown, who fared no better as Dot Cotton, whoappeared to forget her granddaughter Dotty"s name.

● Charlie Clements, whose character Bradley Branning was killed offon the live show, moved his hand when he was supposed to be acting dead.

● AndLacey Turner, who plays his wife Stacey shouted "Charlie!" instead of"Bradley!" as the character died after falling from the roof of theQueen Victoria pub.

● Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning, was caughton camera trying to make himself sick and Adam Woodyatt, who plays IanBeale, told Phil Mitchell, played by Steve McFadden, to "slop it"instead of "stop it" during a bust-up.

An EastEnders insider said: "It was a live show and that always increases the pressure. It wasclear that a few cracked slightly under the spotlight.

"But, overall, everybody was very proud with the way the show went, even if there were a few bloopers."

Meanwhile, it was reported today that detectives in London have slammedthe show"s portayal of the police all the way throughout the Who KilledArchie? storyline.

Fans saw cops on the soap chat to locals about the case, take bribes and even chase murder suspect Bradley Branning on to a roof before he fell.

But according to the Sun newspaper, Det Insp Alan Kalbfell, of the City of London Police, said the scenes could make the public think the police are "unprofessional".

He said: "Viewers will think this is how detectives operate. This is damaging to our profession."

An EastEnders spokeswoman said the soap had a police consultant. But she added: "It might not always represent real life."
